Apple‚ maker of the iPad and iPhone‚ has for the second time failed to win a ban on sales of Samsung Electronics Galaxy 10.1N from a German court.
Samsung said Thursday that the regional court in Germany denied a request from U.S. tech giant Apple for a sales ban on the Korean company's new tablet PC.
The court ruled that Galaxy Tab 10.1N is distinctive and doesn't infringe on the intellectual property rights of Apple.
Meanwhile‚ Apple has filed another patent-related complaint against Samsung in a federal court in San Jose‚ California.
A Samsung official said the company couldn't comment on the latest complaint because they hadn't yet seen it.
The two rivals have been lobbing patent infringement claims against one another since last April and are currently locked in multiple legal battles worldwide.
