Korean shipbuilders operated at full capacity last year and dominated the global shipbuilding market.
SEVEN Korean shipyards including the world's largest Hyundai Heavy Industries controlled a combined 35-percent of the global market share last year.
This is according to the Korea Shipbuilders' Association.
Also in 2005 all SEVEN companies reached their yearly shipbuilding capacity with Hyundai Heavy Industries building 73 ships and Samsung Heavy industries building 43.
