Those are some of the benefits included in a government plan to improve the working conditions of temporary workers in Korea‚ formally classified as "non-regular" workers.
Such employees enjoy fewer benefits than regular staff‚ and this discrepancy has been the source of ongoing calls for reforms.
The government plan was announced at a Cabinet meeting Tuesday.
