President Park Geun-hye has arrived in Italy for a biennial summit of Asian and European leaders.
She will be among more than 50 leaders attending the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting scheduled on Thursday and Friday in Milan.
Officials say President Park will present her views on the connectivity between Asia and Europe as well as her vision for unification of the Korean peninsula.
Then she will travel to Rome for talks with her Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
Before those meetings though‚ President Park will meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican. Reporter : markbroome@arirang.co.kr
