The Korean fishing boat Geummi 305 released last week after being held by Somali pirates for four months arrived safely at the Kenyan port of Mombasa on Tuesday morning‚ local time.
And all 43 crew members‚ including two Koreans and 39 Kenyans are reportedly in good health.
Korean captain Kim Dae-keun said that he heard about the Korean Navy's rescue of the Samho Jewelry from the pirates who had seemed concerned about also being a target.
Meanwhile‚ British daily The Times reported on Tuesday that the British Navy raided a vessel seized by Somali pirates and freed five Yemeni sailors late last week.
