United Nations Secretary-General Ban Kimoon will start a visit of Europe and Africa next week.
UN spokeswoman Michele Montas says Secretary-General Ban will arrive first in Belgium for a meeting with European Union officials and Belgian leaders.
He will then go to Paris for an international conference on the reconstruction of Lebanon.
Secretary-General Ban will also attend the African Union summit in Ethiopia‚ which will focus on the violence in Sudan and Somalia.
His last stop is the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.
