Now of course‚ on Saturday‚ the South Korean national team‚ failed to beat the Phillippines in the semi-finals and had to face off against Taiwan last night for the 3rd-4th place match up.
Now Korea needing a win in this game to earn a ticket to the World Championships and Team Korea shows some great chemistry on the court with some nice passing all throughout the night. Korea takes a 50-29 lead going into half-time‚ and never looks back with Kyung-hee University's Kim Min-gu putting up 21 points in the game as South Korea takes this game 75-57. Now with the win‚ Korea finishes 3rd in the Asian Basketball Championships and earns a ticket to the World Championships‚ for the first time in 16 years Reporter : seungjae86@arirang.co.kr
