Encouraged by the robust turnout‚ Korean ball clubs are returning the goodwill with goodies to see‚ eat and enjoy.
Even after the ninth inning comes and goes‚ fans don't rush home but stick around to watch as the night sky is embroidered by fireworks.
It's a climactic time for many game fans who've had an exhilarating time pounding their noisemakers and shouting at the top of their lungs.
[INTERVIEW : Chang Gwanhee‚ Spectator] ''I didn't expect anything more than watching a ball game. I appreciate the teams' making this more memorable for the whole family both on weekdays and weekends.''
There's even a rock concert to get the adrenaline pumping and the players make a surprise appearance in the bleachers to sing for the fans.
With their new forms of post-game entertainment‚ Korean ballparks are drawing renewed interest.
And many fans say they go away with a grand-slam experience.
