Good afternoon. I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather forecast.
After the cool‚ rainy week we had‚we are finishing off our week with some sunshine.
Also‚.. as soon as the rain cleared‚ we gained another hot day all across the nation.
The temperatures seem to be back up in the thirties for some regions.
And it looks like our weekend is looking favorable as well‚ with high temperatures‚ so go ahead and plan your last-minute summer outings.
With temperatures shooting up‚ causing instability in the atmosphere‚ we can expect up to 40 millimeters of rain this afternoon in some regions of Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongbuk-do provinces and the southern part of Gangwon-do province.
Going over to the readings for today
Seoul will peak at [29] this afternoon‚ and the southern cities of Gwangju and Busan will both hit [29] degrees.
Moving over to other regions
Jeju island will get up to [28]‚ Dokdo hits [26] and Mount Kumgang tops out at [30].
