Good Monday to you all I am Lee Jee Hyun with your latest weather updates Unlike chilly temperatures we had this morning‚ daily highs are soaring rapidly to reach double digits in most regions
And thankfully we won't need to worry about wearing a dust mask today because the entire nation will have moderate to good quality of air through out the day in fact‚ this week is forecasted to be toxic smog free week which is really good news for most of us.
Also we'll see a good deal of sunny skies today‚ and a few patches of clouds in the southern provinces will give way to sun as the day goes on‚ so overall it will be picture perfect weather this afternoon
But tomorrow‚ we have rain in store in the southern parts of the country it will start from Jeju island and spread to other areas and as we head into the mid-week‚ sudden cold spell will strike to the nation dropping the top temperatures to just above 5 degrees Celsius here in Seoul and the surrounding areas
With that in mind‚ here are the readings for today
The afternoon high in Seoul will rise to 11 and Gwangju will get up to 14 while Daegu and Busan will top out at 12 under lots of sunshine .
Let's see how other regions are looking.
It looks like Jeju and Daejeon will climb up to 12 as well while Dokdo hikes up to 6 but the top temperature on Mt. Kumgang will be at minus 1.
