South Korea and the European Union have agreed on the need for stronger sanctions on North Korea. Seoul's Foreign Ministry says the consensus came at a meeting over the weekend between Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini. Minister Yun is currently in Germany seeking support from countries participating in the Munich Security Conference on stronger action against the North. Mogherini said the EU is currently examining ways to toughen its own sanctions on Pyongyang.
