The world-renown environmental award given on a biennial basis was established by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates in recognition of former President‚ Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Former laureates of the prize worth 500-thousand US dollars include former US President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary General of the United Nations‚ Kofi Annan.
The Korean leader who completed his three-day UAE trip is expected to arrive in Seoul Tuesday afternoon.
