Turning to the ongoing troubles in Libya now leader Muammar Gadhafi's forces have reportedly taken back to previously rebel-held port cities of Brega and Ras Lanouf‚while other cities in the western part of the country have also fallen back into the hands of the government.
Various media reports say that Zwara‚ one of the few cities in the country's west that was under the control of opposition forces‚ was battered by tank and artillery fires on Monday.
Reports add that forces loyal to Gadhafi continue to pound eastern cities as well.
Meanwhile‚ France and the United Kingdom have called on other world powers to isolate Gadhafi and stop the violence.
