And staying with the inflationary pressure in Korea
February's producer price index jumped 6.6 percent year-on-year marking the biggest jump in more than two years.
The Bank of Korea said Thursday that the index which reflects future consumer prices has risen for eight straight months.
But the figure for February was slower than the one in January because of relatively stable prices for agricultural goods.
The index for industrial products also spiked by 7.8 percent on-year due to soaring global oil and raw material prices.
