Africa is pretty much the last remaining continent on Earth where smartphones are not everywhere to be seen‚ but Samsung wants to change that as it pushes to double its smartphone sales in Africa next year.
The head of content and services for Samsung Electronics Africa Thabiet Allie says‚ out of the 20 million smartphones sold each year in Africa‚ just over half are made by Samsung‚ and the company plans to substanially increase that in 2014.
