Meanwhile‚ over in Washington
the White House has announced that US President Barack Obama will sign the free trade accords with Korea‚ Colombia and Panama this Friday completing Washington's long-delayed legislative and administrative procedures for the implementation of the trade agreements .
In a statement released on Tuesday‚ the White House said Obama will sign the trade pacts at a ceremony in the Rose Garden with that country's business and union leaders in attendance.
The US Congress ratified the Korea‚ US free trade agreement last Wednesday after nearly four and a half years since the initial signing of the FTA.
