Students preparing for the national scholastic examination might want to pay closer attention to the Education Broadcasting System or EBS as the government plans to base more exam questions on its lectures.
The Ministry of Education‚ Science and Technology recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the state-sponsored educational broadcasting company.
The MOU will strengthen the link between the exam and the lectures with the aim of curbing private education.
Starting with this year's exam at least 70 percent of the test questions will refer to contents offered by EBS which is more than double the previous 30 percent.
