President Lee Myung-bak and First Lady Kim Yoon-ok have arrived in Peru for a state visit to be followed by the APEC summit this weekend.
The President is meeting with Korean residents in Peru and heads of Korean businesses in Lima for the APEC CEO summit.
On Friday Peru time President Lee will be holding summit talks with President Alan Garcia to discuss ways to boost cooperation between Korea and Peru.
And on Saturday morning President Lee delivers a speech at the APEC CEO Summit and will attend the opening session of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting.
According to what's confirmed so far he's also scheduled to hold a trilateral summit with the US President and Japanese Prime Minister and separate one-on-one talks with the leaders of China‚ Russia‚ Chile‚ Colombia‚ and Singapore.
