Arario Gallery is a charming space that can make passersby stop in their tracks and walk in to take a look.
Artist Shine Kong is currently holding her solo exhibition‚ "Adagio for Springs."What's the meaning behind this serene and dream-like painting[Interview : Shine Kong‚ Artist] "Small islands in my painting represent different individuals. I looked up at the sky one day‚ and noticed how all these clouds had identical shadows. I discovered the coexistence of light and darkness. We experience light in our everyday lives‚ but we also have our dark moments. This piece captures people‚ different individuals‚ living alongside nature."
Shine Kong has a very unique process when it comes to creating artwork.
First‚ she molds a clay object and places it on top of a platform which resembles a performance stage. When Kong finds the exact setup she's looking for‚ she begins painting away on a canvas.
Kong's works invoke imagination and nostalgia in the viewers.

Arario Gallery does hold amazing exhibits‚ but there's another place you must check out if you're in the area. Arario Small City is filled with large-scale sculptures by famous contemporary artists including Damien Hirst‚ and Keith Haring.
