The resort also offers sight seeing and entertainment for skiing and snowboarding beginners. The monorail leads to an observatory‚ which provides an overview of the ski resort‚ the mountain range Baekdudaegan‚ a wind power complex and villages in Daegwallyeong. The visitors are captivated by the dazzling scenery unfolding before their eyes.

It's simply indescribable.
What winter-sports lovers and professional skiers particularly love about this resort is its top-notch‚ ski-jumping ramp.
Along with a slope that meets the international standards for world class competitions‚ the ramp offers a great scenery‚ as it's located at the highest altitude within the resort.

Here's another ski resort located in Yongpyeong. As Korea's biggest ski resort‚ it's a favorite winter destination for the thrill-seeking skiers and snowboarders.
Despite the freezing temperature‚ skiers and snowboarders in their colorful ski suits begin racing down the 180m-wide slope‚ the biggest in Korea. Foreign tourists have also visited the resort‚ to enjoy skiing while taking in the scenery of snow-covered mountains.

Sweden] "I enjoy skiing. I'm from Sweden‚ from Scandinavia. So I grew up with snow. So in winter times‚ I enjoy skiing."
[Interview : Jeong Su-o‚ Skier] "I like it here‚ because I can enjoy the speed while surrounded by nature‚ which is something I can't do in my daily life."
As visitors enjoy skiing and snowboarding‚ the day already draws to a close.
But at this resort‚ some even get busier after the night falls. They're none other than the staff members‚ who busily level the slopes on snow plow cars.

"Y" Resort] "I'm currently leveling the slopes by removing the lumps of snow with the snow plow car. We smooth out the slopes to ensure that our customers can enjoy skiing without any inconvenience."

The wind chill is well below zero‚ but the visitors relieve their daily stress and refresh their minds by racing downhill at full speed!
