Korea will hold a summit with the European Union in Seoul on May 23rd with economic issues‚ including the bilateral free trade deal‚ expected to be high on the agenda.
This is according to Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek after meeting with visiting Korean counterpart Han Seung-soo on Tuesday.
The Czech Republic currently holds the EU presidency.
During Prime Minister Han's visit to Prague Korea and the Czech Republic signed an agreement on economic cooperation particularly in research and development as well as cutting-edge technologies.
The two countries also decided to hold inter-governmental meetings regularly to foster strong economic cooperation.
