요약정보
Dominique Strauss-Kahn has been making headlines and earned greater popularity than he ever could as the head of the International Monetary Fund.
And that is why his name can be seen on restaurant menus as well.
An American-style diner on the outskirts of Paris created a sausage which shares the same initials as the former IMF chief.
Posters in the restaurant's window show a woman holding the "Double Sausage Kosher hotdog."
The double kosher sausage with the same initial as the disgraced former IMF headman is an attempt to put a humorous spin on the controversy.
Locals as well as tourists who have been monitoring the DSK fiasco get a good laugh.
The DSK is sensibly priced at just under 15 Euros and is served with a side of coleslaw.
A library belonging to Moscow's Bolshoi Theater boasts one of the oldest and most extensive music archives in the world.
Some of these documents date back to the medieval times‚ with hand-written words inscribed in Latin.
These items that line the shelves of store rooms and offices at the top floor corridor at the Bolshoi include old orchestral scores‚ composers' manuscripts‚ theater programs and posters.
What's significant about these documents is that they survived the test of time and some tragic incidents.
The Bolshoi Theater actually suffered 3 fires during the 19th century and much of the early archive collection was destroyed.
Russia's own national musical heritage is widely presented in the archive.
Manuscripts of composers like Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and orchestra scores of their work inscribed with the remarks of choreographers and conductors can be found in the library as well.
It was touted as the most ambitious initiatives by the Moroccan tourism authority.
It was looked to as a surefire means of achieving the country's ambitious goal of attracting 20 million tourists by 2020.
Unfortunately the 6.2 billion US dollar project titled "Azur 2020" was stalled due to a shortage of funds.
The global financial crisis and the recent instability in the region following the uprisings in the Middle East had a hand in these negative developments.
But today‚ the Moroccan government and all active players in the Moroccan tourism sector‚ investors and banks are focusing their efforts to revive this project.
Six mega resorts will be built along the country's Mediterranean and Atlantic shores.
The success of such projects depends on more than just injecting cash and building more attractions and facilities.
And that's why tourism experts from overseas have also been called over to help direct the project as well.
