Chinese Foreign Minister was in the Republic of Chad recently.
The purpose of his visit was to further expand trade and cooperation in education‚ infrastructure builiding and telecommunications sectors.
Trade between China and the oil-rich African country increased 200 percent between 2009 and 2010‚ according to Chinese sources.
Chad is well on its way to mark greater growth thanks to oil and fuel sales from their newly completed refinery as well as their fast-growing cement sector.
Chad signed an economic cooperation agreement with China‚ and the Asian giant pledged close to 8 million US dollars to finance bilateral projects.
