Britain has been waiting for seventy-three years for a local men's champion at Wimbledon and it just might happen because Murray will go up against another Andy‚ Andy Roddick in the semi-final match
Korean figure queen Kim Yu-na will be joined by her figure skating idol Michelle Kwan at the Samsung Anycall-Hauzen Ice All-Stars 2009 stage
Although Michelle Kwan has retired after winning a silver in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and a bronze in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City‚ she has decided to come back on the ice to skate with record-breaker Kim
Kim said Kwan has been her idol ever since she began skating and could not hide her excitement to be skating with the legend
Kwan also said she is looking forward to skating on the same ice stage as Kim and has prepared two Gala Show programs
The Samsung Anycall-Hauzen Ice All-Stars 2009 begins on August fourteenth at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Jamshil
No one knew who Lucas Glover was until he won the weather tormented US Open
The US Open champion Glover believes he has to elevate his game on a more consistent basis if he wants to be considered golf's elite
After missing the cut in his three previous US Open tournaments shocked the world by winning this years event by two strokes
This victory has shot him up the charts and he will be playing with the elites of the game such as Vijay Singh and Tiger Woods
Glover still has trouble believing he won the US Open and is remaining humble in his search for his next win‚ this time at the AT&T National and the British Open at Turnberry
Manchester United's Park Ji-sung is due for a new contract
His contract expires in June of next year and new contract talks have been goin on with the opening of the 2009-2010 season just around the corner
According to his agency‚ JS Limited‚ there has not been any offers from Manchester United yet but expects some kind of an offer in August of this year.
Park Ji-sung says he wants to stay with Manchester United and according to experts‚ his price should be much higher now than ever before
