Golf wonderboy or should I say wonderman‚ Tiger Woods is only "a few weeks" away from returning to the PGA Tour and may decide within a few days where this return will take place‚ according to Steve Williams‚ his caddie Williams told Television New Zealand that Woods is close to putting an end to his long layoff due to injury and will be back stronger than ever before both mentally and physically Williams said‚ Woods is about ninety five percent of the way there but just needs a little bit more walking The return of this already legendary golfer in the PGA is likely to bring back excitement to the game of golf with many anticipating his return Woods has recently revealed his new baby son‚ Charlie Axel Woods born on February eighth‚ in the new issue of Golf magazine
At the Galan meeting in Stockholm‚ Ethiopia's Meseret Defar brok the world five thousand meters indoor record by more than three seconds Defar set a time of fourteen minutes‚ twenty four point three seven seconds and beat the record set by double Olympic champion Tirunesh Dibaba in 2007 in Boston Beijing Olympics gold medalist Steve Hooker of the land down under won the gold in the men's pole vault and later tried to build up to conquering the six point one five meter world record but couldn't clear the six meter mark and was forced to end his run there
