Hello‚ I'm Yang Un-jung with your weather forecast.
The past few days have been dominated by a high-pressure system from northwest China‚ so it was mostly clear with lots of sunshine‚ but this system will start to shift by Thursday afternoon bringing increasing cloudiness nationwide.
But luckily we have no reports of rain for tomorrow.
Friday though will be a different story as a low pressure trough will influence the central region with rain‚ which will spread across the country as we head into Saturday.
So‚ get out there tomorrow and enjoy the outdoors!.
Here are your highs for Thursday as you can see we'll get some relief from the heat tomorrow.
Seoul will come down to 26.
Gwangju and Busan will be at around 28 to 29 degrees.
While Daegu will be the warmest city in Korea tomorrow with a high of 30.
Daejeon will top out at 26‚ a couple higher on Jeju Island at 28.
Dokdo is expecting 26 and Mt. Geumgang will drop to 20 degrees.
Taking a look at the international weather
Sunny spells for most of Japan will continue into Thursday‚ but be prepared for some scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday.
There are a few bands of showers in central and southern China but even heavier stuff is in store for Vietnam‚ Laos‚ and Cambodia.
But parts of Indonesia will see some dry weather in between.
Down under
There's unsettled weather conditions in southern and eastern Australia at the moment‚ as bands of clouds and rain are moving across Sydney‚ but that should move further south as we head into Friday.
Over in New Zealand‚ there's also another weather front moving through the southern regions‚ which will continue to bring some heavy and persistent showers for the next few days.
Flying over to North America
Remnants of what was once Tropical Storm Lee will continue to affect the northeastern US on Thursday with the possibility of flooding rain in Upstate New York and New England.
And some severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes and damaging winds are set to develop across the eastern Mid-Atlantic.
The Midwest has pretty much the same story‚ but across the far west it will be dominated by a high-pressure system
In South America
Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo will warm up a couple more degrees to 28 and 32‚ respectively‚ on Thursday‚ but skies will remain partly cloudy.
Santiago‚ on the other hand‚ will drop to 18‚ but Buenos Aires will rise to 22 degrees with the sunshine helping a lot.
Into Europe
Moscow will turn partly cloudy and temperatures will cool down slightly as well.
But London and Berlin will see more showers throughout the day with a chance of getting very heavy at times‚ especially during the afternoon.
Lastly in Africa
Enjoy another dry day if you're in Dakar‚ partly cloudy skies with a high of around 29 degrees.
Cape Town is expecting some showers in the evening as well but the amount of the rain will be minimal.
That's all for today's weather.
Have a great evening and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
