Goyang Art Studio (5th Session Residency artists) ○ Long-term residency (1 year) - Residency period: 17 Nov. 2008 ~ 16 Nov. 2009 - Acceptance of 15 Artists (15 studios) ○ Short-term residency (6 months) - Residency period: 17 Nov. 2008 ~ 16 May 2009 / 17 May 2009~ 16 Nov. 2009 - Acceptance of 8 Artists (4 Studios) ※ Applicants must choose one either Changdong or Goyang Art Studio. ※ A double application of long term and short term residency is unacceptable. 2. Eligibility on Application ○ Aged from 25 years old established artists of all nationalities ○ Above artists who have not previously participated at Changdong or Goyang Art Residency program; 3. Selecting Procedure The Selection Committee will draw Assessment of application and a shortlist. ○ Primary Paper Screening → Secondary Interview → The Final Decision 4. Support Materials for Applications ○ An application form (enclosed); ○ Personal Statement; ○ Portfolio must be submitted in forms of digital image‚ preferably in CD-ROM containing descriptions of work: under 10 Still images in “jpg” format/ approx. 5 minutes length Video works in “avi” format; ○ A copy of passport; ○ CV or r?sum? listing your most important exhibitions‚ performances‚ publications‚ awards and education; ○ A pre-project report including anticipated outcome during the residency. 5. Application Procedure ○ Submission Period: 16 June 2008 ~ 11 July 2008 ○ Applications can be made direct or post to Planning & Coordination Division‚ National Museum of Contemporary Art‚ 427-701‚ San 58-1‚ Makgye-dong‚ Gwacheon-si‚ Gyeonggi-do‚ Republic of Korea 6.
