Korea's producer prices in August fell at their sharpest rate in 16-and-a-half years‚ due largely to low global oil prices.
The Bank of Korea said Friday that the producer price index came in at 100.eight-eight last month.
This is down four.four-percent from the previous year‚… extending its downward streak to a 13th straight month.
Utilities‚ including electricity‚ gas and tap water fees‚ dropped a combined ten.six percent from the previous year.
