It's been a little more than two weeks since the Korea-European Union free trade agreement kicked into effect and the latest figures show the pact seems to have boosted bilateral trade.
According to Korea Customs Service on Sunday‚ between July 1st to 13th‚ Korea's exports to Europe was valued at around 1.4-8 billion US dollars‚ a 19 percent jump from the same period last year.
The nation's inbound shipments also grew by 16 percent to 1.6-5 billion dollars.
And experts say the trade pact has served to expand two-way trade‚ even amid the escalating debt crisis in the euro-zone.
