Some Korean men who have postponed their mandatory military service for four years after taking the required physical exam will have to re-take the test.
The Military Manpower Administration said today that it plans to make about 15-thousand men retake the physical exam for conscripts next month because they have not yet enlisted despite being qualified to serve in 2007.
It said the move is in line with the military service law since their physical condition could have changed after four years.
The administration advises men to enlist as soon as possible after taking the physical exam.
