Experts say that if the meeting does take place‚ North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev are likely to touch upon topics such as food and financial aid‚ reopening the six-party nuclear disarmament talks and the possibility of Russian investment in the Rason economic development project.
The last time Kim traveled to Russia was back in August 2002 when he met then-President Vladimir Putin.
