President Lee also highlighted the need to come up with customized measures so that the workers can easily feel the economic change‚ such as granting occupational health and safety insurance for those who have not been able to receive benefits.
He also urged courier companies to do their part in addressing the issues.
[Interview : President Lee Myung-bak ] "Systemically‚ the government should deal with issues like industrial accidents and parking‚ but it's up to the company to decide the level of income."
The Presidential Office said the Korean leader will continue to pay visits to those who work in industries often overlooked‚ such as construction workers and film production staff‚ so as to cater to their needs and come up with policies for the disadvantaged in society.
