At the Santa Clara International Grand Prix in California on Sunday‚ Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan once again won first place in the men's 200-meter freestyle final with a new tournament record time of one-minute 45.9-2 seconds.
Australia's Ryan Napoleon came in second‚ about three seconds behind Park.

Park's new record time is 1.1-2 seconds faster than the Asian record he set last year at the Guangzhou Asian games.
And with high altitude training‚ the star swimmer improved his speed and stamina‚ raising hopes of victory at the World Championships.

South Korean National Team] "I'm aiming to break the world record at the World Championships‚ so we'll have to wait and see what happens then‚ but training is proceeding as planned and I hope I do well."
Park won the 100-meter and 400-meter free titles on Friday‚ securing three gold medals so far.
He will race in the 200-meter mixed style on Monday‚ and return to Australia to train for next month's World Championships in Shanghai.
