The presidential office also said it is open for discussions with the political circle while expressing hope that the opposition party will approach pending issues affecting average citizens with utmost sincerity.
If the talks between President Lee and Sohn do take place‚ this will be the first meeting in three years for the Korean leader to hold talks with the main opposition party's chairman.
