Retired government officials‚ who are later employed at law firms as advisors will be obligated to reveal their salaries and specific work activities starting as early as next month.
According to the new set of ordinances by the Ministry of Justice‚ this applies to retired top-rank officials from the government‚ including the Financial Supervisory Service‚ the National Intelligence Service‚ and the Constitutional Court of Korea.
Law firms will also have to submit a list of employed former government officials to local bar associations.
