The foreign ministers of Korea and Luxembourg have vowed to cooperate closely to get the Korea-European Union free trade agreement approved by both side's legislatures.. so it can take effect as scheduled on July 1st.
Luxembourg's visiting Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn and his Seoul counterpart Kim Sung-hwan held a luncheon meeting Friday‚ where they both recognized the benefits from expanding trade and investment between the two economies.
And for that purpose‚ a business delegation from the European country will come to Korea in May.
Ahead of the 50th anniversary of Korea-Luxembourg diplomatic ties next year‚ the ministers agreed to make the year 2012 a commemorative one to further boost bilateral cooperation.
