Flights from Korea to Japan and vice versa are mostly back to normal and the number of passengers has returned to a normal level as well.
Korean Air and Asiana flights to Fukushima from Korea's Incheon International Airport took off as scheduled at around 10 a.m. Monday.
And one plane from Fukushima safely landed in Incheon at around 3:30 p.m.
Over at Gimpo Airport‚ planes that departed from Tokyo's Haneda Airport have been landing safely since 11 a.m.
While planes were overbooked by people returning to their home countries over the weekend‚ the number of passengers now has decreased somewhat.
Meanwhile‚ the badly damaged Sendai and Ibaraki airports remain closed.
