Japanese people will set up a memorial tombstone for Korean independence activist Ahn Jung-geun who assassinated Japanese prime minister Ito Hirobumi in the 1909.
According to the Ahn Jung-geun Foundation Youth Academy on Friday that some Japanese citizens have decided to erect the memorial stone for Ahn at the temple in Hukuoka on March 25th to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the Korean hero's death.
About 10 members of the foundation will participate in the ceremony.
This is the first time Japanese citizens to erect a memorial stone and hold ceremony for Ahn Jung-geun.
The organization was established in 2006 to spread Ahn's will of peace in Asia.
