The two-day Seoul summit successfully crafted a significant breakthrough in the global currency war‚ established a financial safety net‚ reorganized the power structure of the International Monetary Fund and tackled development goals highlighting Korea's role as a bridge between developed and emerging nations.
The Presidential Council for Future and Vision suggested that Korea pursue a proactive open-door policy by underlining the country's mission to have an economically and socially safe environment for the next generation free from North Korean threats.
The Presidential Council for National Competitiveness also proposed that Korea use the momentum from hosting the summit to become a leading global nation by making efforts to become a more open state‚ ensuring a balanced and fair society and pursuing a more sustainable and growing economy.
It advised Korean firms to acquire and merge with leading international corporations as well as energy and resources related companies and called for the settlement of a fair society campaign‚ green growth initiatives and flexible work hours.
