The design on this dress may look like abstract art but look closer and you'll realize it's the Korean words for dream spring and forest.
Fashion designer Lee Do-ii and calligrapher Kang Byung-in collaborated on this project to create "wearable Hangeul."
Hangeul the 700-year-old Korean alphabet created by King Sejong is printed onto the fabric and transformed into ready-to-wear art.
[Interview : Lee Doii‚ Fashion designer] "It shows a different side of the beauty of the Korean‚ which normally people don't realize‚ and we wanted people to recognize it and Korean character to be more a part of the Korean people's daily lives."
These clothes feature the calligraphy works of Kang Byung-in who says Hangeul is more than just a writing system.
[Interview : Kang Byung-in‚ Calligrapher] "Hangeul is very scientific and systematic and it has a high literary value‚ but I hope people will realize that it is also visually and aesthetically very pleasing."
Kang interprets each word as a motif‚ and uses his strokes to embody the meaning of each character.
"Not only can you wear Hangeul‚ you can also relax on a Hangeul chair like this one one of three winning designs."
Almost four-thousand visitors voted on the Hangeul chair designs submitted by Korean amateur designers.
And the winning three were made into chairs and exhibited here.
If you walk outside the gallery you can check out more benches with Hangeul.
But if Korean is not your native language and if you've ever wondered what your name might look like in Hangeul‚ you can try this calligraphy using a brush and ink stone.

The beauty of Hangeul is magnified through design incorporated into everyday objects winning the attention of locals and foreigners alike.
