It appears Iran has built a new generation of centrifuges and is currently carrying out necessary technical experiments.
According to Iran's official Islamic Republic News Agency Ali Akbar Salehi the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization said Tuesday that 10 of the newly-developed centrifuges used for uranium enrichment are now undergoing tests.
Although enriched uranium can be used for electricity generation it can be also used as nuclear fuel to build atomic weapons.
Meanwhile‚ officials from Iran and six other countries including the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany will be meeting in Geneva on October 1st to discuss Iran's nuclear program.
