Korean tourists have finally started returning from Thailand.
Around 1‚500 Koreans were stranded on the resort island of Phuket for four days as Phuket International Airport was shut down in the wake of anti-government protests in the country.
All flights from the island were cancelled as protesters besieged the airport.
Over the weekend some three-hundred people chose to take a 14-hour bus ride to Bangkok before getting on an Asiana flight back to Seoul.
Operations at the airport are now reportedly back to normal.
Korean travellers to Phuket began arriving at Incheon International Airport early on this Monday morning.
