South Korean Foreign Minister Song Minsoon held talks with his Canadian counterpart‚ Peter Mackay in Seoul.
The two foreign ministers discussed among others the ongoing Korea-Canada free-trade talks and efforts to disarm North Korea's nuclear program.
Mr. MacKaywill hold a news briefing on Wednesday‚ his final day after touring the Panmunjeom truce village in the Demilitarized Zone.
This is the first time for Canada's top diplomat to visit Korea since 1998.
