Nine foreign mountain climbers and a Pakistani guide have been shot dead by gunmen who stormed their camp in northern Pakistan.
Pakistan's Interior Minister says three Chinese and one Nepali national were killed‚ while five unidentified tourists are believed to be Ukranians.
The gunmen‚ who were wearing police uniforms‚ stormed into the camp at the site of Nanga Parba on Sunday and opened fire.
A spokesperson for the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the assault saying it was in retaliation for U.S. drone strikes in May which killed its second-in-command‚ Waliur Rehman.
