[Reporter : ] We've seen scenes in old black and white movies and cartoons where a baby is left on a total stranger's doorstep.
Recently‚ a baby was left out in the cold to be adopted by a huge organization.
But we are not talking about human babies‚ I hear.
And apparently leaving baby animals at the doorsteps of a zoo is a crime in Poland.
Initially I thought the zoo was the right place to send lost or abandoned young animals to.
[Reporter : ] That was my assumption too.
But apparently it's a lot more complicated than that.
And there are specific zoos that can cater to the needs of different animals.
So right now the latest bundle of joy that was discovered is at the lost and found corner.
A strange parcel was delivered to the Warsaw Zoo.
Upon hearing scratching noises from the package‚ security officers feared for the worse.
Thankfully the content was true to the description written on the parcel paper.
It was a young Nile Crocodile.
The animal was exposed to grave danger as he was left in chilly conditions overnight.
Thankfully he didn't show any signs of pneumonia or a common cold.
In Poland‚ it's a crime to leave an animal attended‚ and currently investigations are being carried out.
A Nile Crocodile can grow up to 8 meters and will need to be sent to a different zoo.
Currently the young croc named Gustav is being kept in quarantine and under surveillance with other unwanted animals that the zoo had to temporarily adopt.
The economic crisis continues to plague Greece.
And according to an NGO report a new wave of homelessness is emerging in the country.
Psychologists at Kimalka which provides shelter and other services for the homeless said that a new population of homeless that's different from the traditional type has emerged in the last year.
Traditionally‚ immigrants drug addicts or the mentally ill took up the majority of the homeless population.
But between 2009 and 2011 the number of homeless went up by 25 percent.
And during this period‚ the predominant reason for the increase was the economic and financial crisis.
Greek unemployment hit a record high of 16-point 6 percent in May this year compared to the same month last year.
The government is working on programs to help create fast track processes for new businesses.
Bono‚ U2 Duran Duran these are some of big names that dominated the British GQ awards.
These weren't the only list of music scene big wigs that hogged the spotlight.
Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards owned the nightas he went on to win "Writer of the Year."
An all account of his life as a hellraiser was vividly described in this autobiography.
There was another star who stole some of the spotlight when Richards received his award.
That's bound to happen when the presenter is Johnny Depp.
Other celebrity presenters included Emma Watson and Charlize Theron.
U2 earned the Band of the Year honors while Duran Duran won the Lifetime Achievement award.
The award ceremony was held at London's Royal Opera House and all but one award was voted for by the GQ magazine staff.
However the Most Stylish Man was chosen by avid GQ readers.
