[Reporter : ] I do know of a young man in Korea who started talking to random strangers to try and improve his English‚ but later used the stories he gathered to publish his own book.
British author Tony Parsons has set up residence at London's Heathrow Airport.
The reason behind this unusual decision is to add greater realism to his upcoming book.
Travelers moving in and out of the airport should not be surprised if they chance upon their stories in the new book being penned by Parsons.
The 57-year-old author's mission is to talk to as many people as he can at Heathrow.
The selected stories will be used in his fictional collection of short stories titled "Departures."
Thanks to the approval and cooperation of the airport‚ he is given complete physical‚ artistic and creative freedom.
In fact‚ he is being commissioned by the Heathrow airport for his current project.
The aim is to change the negative perception of air travel.
Heathrow is hoping that Tony's works will help bring back the magic of flying.
Over in Russia‚ American films are gaining growing popularity today.
Sensing greater opportunities Hollywood is looking to cash in at the box office.
More and more tinseltown stars flew over to Moscow for red carpet events to delight avid Russian fans.
Some of the big names making appearance in Russia over the past month include Johnny Depp‚ Penelope Cruz‚ Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.
Award-winning American actors and star directors all agree‚ that Russia is no longer an emerging film market but an emergent one.
Russia is more than just an important film premiere venue for Hollywood.
The country acknowledges the fact that the future of Hollywood films in Russia is very bright.
Russians will always love action films from the US and naturally there are bigger plans.
More money will be invested in order to double the number of cinemas in the country.
However‚ local filmmakers are still copying Hollywood films‚ and individual production companies still struggle for more government support.
News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch has been making a lot of TV appearances thanks to the latest hacking scandal and the closure of the UK newspaper‚ News of the World.
Painter Geoffrey Raymond managed to catch the eyes of the world as well‚ with his new portrait‚ partly because it features the troubled media tycoon.
The Wall Street artist-in-residence‚ managed to flip Murdoch's world upside down with his latest creation.
The painting is titled "The Inverted Murdoch" for a good reason.
He's caught up in a massive scandal to a degree his world is somewhat inverted.
It is quite an experience to see the world of a man who is used to almost always having his way turned upside down.
Raymond secured his unique niche in the art world in 2008 with his painting of disgraced CEO Dick Fuld.
Today his works sell for around 85-thousand US dollars.
But sometimes he auctions his works on Ebay‚ and usually they get more and more expensive.
