The earthquake that shook Myanmar has damaged scores of historical structures in the ancient city of Bagan. According to the state newspaper‚ at least one-hundred-85 ancient Buddhist pagodas in the city collapsed in the six.eight magnitude quake‚ which struck central Myanmar on Wednesday. Bagan is the country's most famous archaeological site with over two-thousand structures‚ including pagodas and temples built in the 10th to 14th centuries. The quake also damaged the country's parliament building and shook tall buildings in Yangon.
