Now‚ let's go and see how celebrations are taking place in some of the key places in the country.
First‚ we connect live to our 지명길 at 임진각 along the nation's border with the communist North where it is a key place to visit to get a feel for the situation on the border.

And the Imjin-gak liberty bell will ring in few minutes too.
Its very cold at the moment‚ but as you can see behind me there are lots of people waiting for the bell to ring on New Years Day.
