The summit‚ being held for its second year in Seoul‚ was organized by the Global Green Growth Institute‚ in association with the OECD‚ the UN Environment Programme and The World Bank.
Under the theme of "Global Governance for Green Growth and the Green Economy‚" plenary sessions during the two-day event include topics on how national governments can pursue green growth policies and economic strategies.

The World Bank] "We at the World Bank are here at the summit‚ talking about what is possible to do for every country‚ no matter how rich or poor the country is there are things that can be done today‚ and need to be done today‚ in order to move to a more inclusive green growth path."
