A new report by a leading US think tank says passage of America's pending FTAs with Korea‚ Colombia and Panama is necessary for a "pro-America" trade policy.
The study released by the Council on Foreign Relations on Monday says the US must "become a thriving trading nation" to boost jobs and income.
The authors of the report which include George W. Bush's former chief of staff Andrew Card and former Senate majority leader Thomas Daschle say political stalemate within the US has harmed the nation's interests and outlined seven goals that would revitalize the US economy through global trade.
